As we are now on GMT, the group that meet on Wednesdays will generally attend in the morning, now that the daylight hours closing in.

The 2026 AGM is scheduled for 2nd Dec. The venue is the Carlton House Club, 38, High St, Olney, MK46 4BB. Proceedings Start at 8.00 pm

A BBQ was held at the NVA field on Sunday 27th September, 5 NVA members attended + 2 from NMAS.

The NVA flying field was re-opened on Sat 22nd August following a short suspension during the very hot weather.

An additional shipping container was delivered to our site on Wednesday 12th Aug - pictures on the website. The plan is that it will replace the scraggy tin shed.

Reminder: Regular maintenance of the field takes place most Tuesday mornings so no flying until at least the mowing is complete - usually by about 12.30 pm

Please note that the gate code for 2026 has now changed - the new code is on your 2026 membership card.

Please note that your new (very long) CAA opertor number must be displayed on all models but the CAA has confirmed that this new number will NOT be changed every year. The CAA regrets that this number is so long but it is regulated by an EU directive that the UK (DoT) agreed adopt since the UK formally left the EU. (if it is any consolation, the guy from the CAA also thinks the length of the number is daft)

- By now all members should have received their CAA operator ID number. No model should take to the air without this number on the aircraft is accordance with the CAA's requirements. These can be found here
