How to Join NVA |
The easiest way is to follow these steps: |
1) |
Visit every
section of this website, particularly the FAQs |
2) |
If any of your questions is
not answered, send us an e-mail or call one of the committee members |
3) |
Visit
the field - the best time is Sunday 10-1 pm (weather permitting of course)
- you will need to phone one
of the committee to check that there will be someone will be there who can
help and to be told the code for the electric security gate at the
entrance to the forest track. |
4) |
Fill in an application
form, this can be downloaded by clicking
here. When e-mailing the form you need only send pages 1 and 2. |
5) |
Complete the application form and bring it to the field or post it to the secretary (address on the
application form) Do not send any money with
this form |
6) |
You will be advised if your
application has been successful. If so, send a cheque or give cash to the
treasurer; alternatively
transfer the fee by BACS (our bank details are on the application form).
E-mail the Chairman, treasurer or Secretary immediately you have done this
as you will need to be sent a membership card and be advised of the
combination lock code to the summer car park and flying field. |
7) |
Start flying (supervised,
if you have yet to pass your A-Certificate test). |
